We use this disher at a restaurant to get perfectly sized cookies, servings of food, etc. etc. Because it's our default scoop size, it gets heavy use, from ice cream to cookie dough, hummus to cupcake batter, and everything in between, multiple times a day, with many different hands. It's been washed by hand and by dish washer. It's been flung into the sink, dropped on the ground (and then cleaned off, of course), and treated like a good solid tool. No problems thus far, and it's been about three months since I bought it. The notches don't skip, so the swiping blade stays perfectly aligned.
